Ones to Watch; our annual exhibition for creative students and 2018 graduates currently studying in or from Yorkshire is back! This will be our 6th Ones to Watch exhibition. Our regular life drawing class meet every Wednesday evening in the Spinning Mill Studios (top floor of spinning mill above Scrap). Taught by artists Mel Davies and Kim Coley the classes are experimental and fun – with a range of different life models. 2019 term starts on Wednesday 6th February. In this workshop I will take you right through through the full process of prepping furniture from filling, sanding and repairing and then onto painting furniture with a contemporary smooth brush-stroke free finish, as well as the techniques for creating modern designs, such as striking geometric patterns using masking tape.
